Erin and Chris' Reception

Erin and Chris got married down in the Florida Keys.  After a week of an amazing honeymoon they came home to celebrate with friends and family.  I was so happy to be able to take pictures for them and capture the "candid" photos they wanted.  The couple had a fun party and even included couple games!  What a great evening.  These are just a few of their pictures!  I even took video of the games, for audio was necessary for those memories!

Mr. and Mrs. Bishop

Jenna and Kaleb got married this passed May!  I was so excited to be working with them.  They are such a fun couple and you can really tell that no matter what troubles life throws at them - they will figure it out.  They make a great team!  We wish you many happy years to come for you!  <3

Andrea and Kellen

I have known Andrea her entire life; seriously. When Andrea asked me to take pictures of her and Kellen, I was honored. Shortly after these pictures were taken, Kellen was deployed to Japan for the Air Force.

These are just a few of my favorite pictures of this crazy couple. We took several pictures, and also had many funny/goofy pictures. This couple truly shows the world what it means to be in love. They are lucky to have one another.

Customer feedback on facebook link:
"Andrea Hertzberg: Aww. Megan, you make me cry. I appreciate these sooo much. They make the distance less painful. Thank you so much. You really did a good job. I was supprised you even got some good ones because we were being so silly the whole time you were taking them. :) thank you again and love you."

Glad to make my customers happy!

2012!

As you can see I have been updating like a crazy mad woman!

2012 is here and that brings many great opportunities for me as a person and as a photographer.

I recently graduated (In December) with my degree to teach middle school math. However, I do not anticipate finding a job or working until August. Will I be bored... absolutely not! My husband and I are expecting our pride and joy, Gideon Xavier around march 4th of this year! So be expecting several pictures of his lovely face as he grows.

Jeremiah got me a new camera and lens for Christmas/Graduation this year. I am now working with a Canon Rebel T2i and an 18-135 is lens. LOVE LOVE LOVE the new set up. Although I have been taking pictures of family events, Christmas and so forth, tomorrow is the first time I get to take it out and work with a client.

Tomorrow I'll be taking very special pictures for my friend Andrea and her boyfriend Kellen. He is being deployed in a few days to Japan and they haven't had any professional pictures taken since they have been together for several years. Keep your eyes out for their beautiful faces.

xoxo,
MJ

Cori's Lovely Family

Cori, her siblings, and their mother was a wild group! I loved getting to see them over Thanksgiving morning. Even though it was windy, the sun was incredibly bright, and the weather a bit chilly we still had a good time.
